Our wedding was in their careful and capable hands
Adele and her husband, Seth, are the dream team of wedding photographers. They are patient, thorough and exact in their craft. I never once questioned a single shot or idea. I felt both embraced and laidback through the entire process (and that process can take a while to iron it ALL out!)- knowing that our wedding was in their careful and capable hands. The day of- all the nerves and worry about getting the “perfect pictures” fluttered away. I would recommend Adele tenfold over and Adele Lee Photography made my amazing (but very whirlwind) wedding weekend remain now forever in our memories and our hearts- visually. It is truly priceless to have a batch of outstanding photos that take you back – time and time again- to your moments that made it what it is- your very OWN special wedding weekend. Surrounded by all those you love. I literally look at them every day- and “feel all the feels”.

Winston-Salem Sessions, Reynolda Gardens

Who doesn’t like the beach? I love living here, Seth and the boys spent the afternoon looking for seashells and splashing around in the ocean. Of course I was here at my trusty computer editing to my hearts content, but I’ve had my fair share of beach time this summer. With that said, we all miss the foothills of NC, and the sheer greenness of everything is almost overwhelming on the drive into town. We must “officially” be accustomed to the greys and blues of the seaside since arriving is like sensory overload! So, spending the afternoon at Reynolda Gardens was especially inspiring for me. My brother and I spent many lazy afternoons there as children, roaming the gardens and greenhouses, I remember it like it was yesterday. If I haven’t warmed up your heart quite enough, the first set of photos are of a DEAR friend. I’ve been their “family photographer” well before I was even close to becoming one. The walls in her house are like a growing portfolio of mine, it was a milestone photographing them for the first time as a true professional! I was very nervous, more so than when I meet a family of 12 strangers who are staring at me with the, “What do you want us to do” look! I blame her for this, I know how “particular” she is about things (writing this with a smile of course!). It made it even sweeter with 3 Pilot Mountain friends in tow, what a great day we had! Even though the last session ended with a tornado siren! I hope these families enjoy this peek (their CDs are in the mail!), its been SO refreshing to edit these this week!
