Our wedding was in their careful and capable hands
Adele and her husband, Seth, are the dream team of wedding photographers. They are patient, thorough and exact in their craft. I never once questioned a single shot or idea. I felt both embraced and laidback through the entire process (and that process can take a while to iron it ALL out!)- knowing that our wedding was in their careful and capable hands. The day of- all the nerves and worry about getting the “perfect pictures” fluttered away. I would recommend Adele tenfold over and Adele Lee Photography made my amazing (but very whirlwind) wedding weekend remain now forever in our memories and our hearts- visually. It is truly priceless to have a batch of outstanding photos that take you back – time and time again- to your moments that made it what it is- your very OWN special wedding weekend. Surrounded by all those you love. I literally look at them every day- and “feel all the feels”.

My Sweet Buddies

I’ve always called the boys my little “monkies”, so you can imagine the emotion when I walked into his Kindergarden classroom, theme: monkey. I have a friend who has been telling me for weeks, “oh, it will hit you soon” (you know who you are!) and in that sweet little moment, it did. All I can hope for is that we’ve prepared him well. Early on, “kindergarden” is this mythical place, inevitable but so, so far into the future. But, from the time that the first step hits the ground running, we subconsciously begin preparing them to stand alone in this big scary world with trials and danger around ever corner. I keep going over and over in my mind, have I forgotten something important? Should I mention once more about bullies, respect, manners or safety? As hard as it is to admit, its too late. His little heart and mind will have to carry him, because I will not be there guiding it every step of the way. I am so proud of who he is, his character, his heart. It will all be put to the test for the rest of his life. Starting now. In honor of Kindergarden, and my little buddies who make me smile, cry and sing….and to the last image, which represents what I will be staring straight in the eye for the rest of my life…
