When things get busy, the blog is the first thing to go. Sessions, editing and orders take up most of my time! I know its been quiet, but we have been BUSY. Its the strongest year ever at Adele Lee Photography and we are learning how to grow. Over the next few weeks I plan to get everyone “up here” on the blog.
I wanted to discuss growth a little bit! I am just ONE person, trying to be the best at everything I do, and sometimes its really hard to keep up! I kept asking myself, how I can “move forward”? How can I ensure I am never too busy to give each client the personalized experience & attention they deserve. To be clear, this is something I am not willing to let go of, now or ever! It is the heart of my business and I treasure the relationships built with every single family, bride, baby etc. With 13 weddings on the books for next year already, and a full time studio/outdoor portrait business, finding help was overdue! Welcoming Karra to the ALP photography team has been the best decision all year! She’s not only a close friend who I trust, she knows how to put up with my organized chaos! I will still be doing all of the shooting, editing & interacting with clients on a daily basis (what I LOVE!) but leaving all of the boring list making, finances, taxes, blah blah blah (things that I DO NOT love) to her! But she loves it, so I don’t feel bad saying that! I fell blessed to start growing beyond what I can handle as a single person!
As my team grows, so will this business BUT without working myself to death! I want to focus on my strengths, taking photos and creating art for you! I am SLOWLY learning to delegate! In the meantime, since I am feeling nostalgic, let me share my heartfelt thanks with you. Thank you for trusting me and sharing my love of photography with your family and friends.
Here are some “highlights” of what I have been up to this fall! I spent 4 days shooting at Reynolda Gardens in Winston Salem, such a dynamic spot!
